new film The Wild, Wild West . The

Jefferies' new contract follows its work in providing 200 pairs of gloves
for James Cameron's 11-Oscar blockbuster Titanic
. "The
company has established strong links with the movie industry after supplying
25 pairs of futuristic neoprene gloves for the Stallone film Judge
Dredd . It secured the Titanic
contract after being approached by film costume specialists Angels &
Bermans. "Chester Jefferies director Greg Pearce said,
'A lot of people are very fussy - they have to have gloves to match the
period, and nine times out of ten you're not going to be able to walk
into a shop and pick them off the shelf.' "The 50-strong firm in Buckingham Road, Gillingham, has also supplied gloves for actress Nicole Kidman, TV's Poirot and The Bill and the West End shows Cats and Starlight Express." |
